ABC Student Transportation, Inc. is a full service student transportation company, committed to the delivery of safe, reliable, first class transportation to the students that we service, as well as the parents/guardians and schools/organizations that entrust them to us on a daily basis. Being a very close-knit, family owned and operated company since our inception, has allowed us to better relate to, understand, and meet the varying needs of our riders and clients.
Founded on September 23, 1994, ABC Student Transportation, Inc. has evolved from a small start-up school bus company to a full-fledged, high quality student transportation provider. This constant growth can be attributed to our ever-increasing reputation as a safe, flexible, and dependable transportation provider. Despite our rapid & consistent growth, we have managed to maintain the friendly personal feel of a small company, as well as the attention to detail not always found in larger companies.
ABC currently operates a modern fleet of over 220 fully insured buses (of which over 90% are propane auto gas), ranging in size from the smaller 29-passenger model, to the more standard 72-passenger model, with wheel-chair accessible buses available as well. The fleet is expertly maintained daily by our highly skilled, ASE certified team of mechanics. The effectiveness of our two-tiered preventative maintenance program is evidenced by the 99.5% average safety rating given to us by the Michigan State Police over the last 8 years.
ABC realizes that, at the end of the day, the bus drivers are the backbone of the operation, and as such strive to hire not only the best drivers, but also the best people. Our drivers are all state licensed, with proper endorsements and training, and are subjected to criminal and driving history checks, as well as pre-employment and random drug testing. We take great pride in knowing that our entire roster of drivers averages over 25 years of experience, and less than 1 point on their licenses.
